First and foremost, I thank Allah Subhaanahu wa ta’ala for His infinite mercy, generosity, compassion and unfaltering love. It is only with Allah’s help that this school was established and numerous, seemingly insurmountable hurdles overcome.

Read Academy began its journey in 2013 with a handful of students and just two year groups of Primary students and over time we have built a highly positive reputation of excellence, the school has grown and continues to grow from strength to strength. Beginning with just two year groups in Primary the school, we are blessed to be in a unique position of the FIRST all-through Islamic-faith based independent school in the London Borough of Redbridge, OFSTED has recognised the school’s commitment and efforts with a grading of ‘Good’ in all areas in the school’s most recent inspection. Alhumdulillah.

Our pursuit of academic excellence is based upon our unshakeable belief that every person is unique and special, and has the capacity within themselves to succeed. Our vision is to nurture our Readers of today to be inspirational Leaders of tomorrow, and our job as a school is to help each and every young person discover their unique talents and help them to fulfil their dreams in shaa’ Allah.

While it is our priority that the education your child receives here with us will enable them to achieve academic excellence, it is also part of our vision that all our children are filled with positive experiences, that they are aware of the endless possibilities that await them and that they are nurtured in order to develop within them, a confidence to embrace whatever comes their way taking Islam as their criterion to distinguish right from wrong. All of our staff share this vision and work tirelessly to provide a varied and engaging curriculum and a positive school experience.
